Midweek Music with Of Montreal "A Sentence of Sorts In Kongsvinger"

This week's Midweek Music is Of Montreal's "A Sentence of Sorts In Kongsvinger". Being the music fan I am I keep hearing the name Of Montreal but never bother listening to their music. I'm a bit of music snob (I'm working on it!) so their hipster name and art work turned me off. That was until my boyfriend first played me their classic album "Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?". I'm a glam rocker fan and they have that style. They are not afraid to be silly or weird. This is actually a fan video with a cute woman running around, dancing, smiling and joins her bunny friend in the end. This song always makes me smile and I imagine this playing when people land in LAX and walking into that bright Southern California sun. On to my bright sunshine manicure.

Midweek Music with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds "O Children"

Hello and Welcome to Midweek Music. I have always been a huge fan of music and it plays a major role in my life. I have read books, seen movies, meet people including my boyfriend through music. This week is Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds "O Children". When I watching "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part one" I was surprised to recognize the voice Harry and Hermione were dancing too. The funny thing is that I have owned the albums "The Lyre of Orpheus and Abattoir Blues" for awhile but I rarely listened to them. That was corrected and they both work well with each other. "The Lyre of Orpheus" has "O Children" as the last track and it's a great choice for a Harry Potter film. Time to show you the manicure I wore for "Deathly Hallows part 2" midnight showing.
